Composition
Quartz is a composite material made artificially, combining resins, quartzite, granite powders, granules and pigments, which give different effects and finishes. It is for this nature that the material is also called quartz agglomerate.
Composition determines the quality of the material. In particular, the higher the percentage of quartzite, the better the product, as it will be more resistant and less porous.
All quartzes selected by CTS Milano are made with at least 93% natural quartz.
Features and effects
Among the characteristics of quartz, there are durability, ease of cleaning and maintenance, hygiene and great resistance to scratches, bumps, abrasions.
Another great plus of this material is aesthetic value. In fact, quartz is presented in many colours and finishes, even reproducing marble and natural stone effect.
